Sprint 3 is now officially over and it has been a bit of rollercoaster let me tell you.

Week 5 was a bit of slow week, while this week has been all systems go!

The main goals for this sprint were: finish the mid-level 3D character models for all characters, finish playable area of the farm level and get to stage (programming wise) where we could easily move onto combat at the start of the next sprint. All 3 of those goals got achieved!!

Patty & Wren finished the mid-level models 3 days ahead of schedule which means that they have been able to move onto creating the final character models sooner than expected.

The playable area in the farm level is now finished and Joe has now moved onto finishing editing and texturing the terrain just outside the level. He also sat down the environment artists Cameron & Elliot to plan out the pirate ship so that they can start creating the new and improved pirate ship model.

We now have all of the movement and general mechanics set up with the puppet master plug in. Cameron has been working away on combat animations which means that come Monday Matt will have everything set up and ready to crack down on the combat.

Once the combat is finished and we then have the base of the game we can start thinking about other things that could be implemented into the game to improve the player experience.

Next week and the next sprint in general will see the game go from strength to strength and we will have a big plan of where this game could possibly go.
