Week 10 At The Doghouse

This week started off with a Team Crit on Monday. At Falmouth University around everything month or so every team will have what is called a Team Crit with another team. Each team explain their game and shows the latest version of their game. This is a really good way to receive feedback since the other team will most likely be in the same point of development as you, therefor their feedback and advise will be very useful.
Our crit went very well and the other team pointed out a few issues/bugs that we weren't aware of.
In terms of actual development this week has seen the implement and functionality of unarmed combat so now players can go around and damaging their opponents with just their fists.
The final 3D models for the Dwarf and Orc are now finished, therefor our artists have moved onto creating textures for all 4 characters. We have also been coming up with new possible team logos.

Our environment artists have been working hard on creating more assets to help fill out the farm level.

We have started creating the dynamic level events for the farm level. At one random point in the game a bull will burst out of the barn and start running around the map damaging any player that gets in it's path. Before leaving the game the bull will burst through a gate and therefor opening a new section of the map for the players.
