Week 4 At The Doghouse

This week ending also means the end of Sprint 2!
In this week there was a lot of waiting and doing a lot of little jobs behind the scenes because we have a lot of people learning new skills and softwares. Now this might sound like production has slowed down but you just wait and see all the progress that is going to happen next week. See Joe (level designer) has been learning Unity's terrain editor so he can have everything in the level just as he planned. Elliot has been learning Substance designer to help speed up the process of texturing his models.

Harry has been creating a design roadmap to help us focus on the importance of each mechanic that is yet to be created and put into the game therefor helping me create a priority list.
Wren & Patty have moved onto creating some more detailed 3D models for our character and they should be completed by week 5.

Cameron & Matt have been working very closely this sprint since they have found a plug in which will speed up development by 10. It is a plug in called Puppet Master and it will help with the ragdoll physics. Since we now have this new plug-in Matt has decided to re-write the movement & combat scripts to help development down the line.
Next week is going to be the start of Sprint 3, which is going to be massive so stay tuned!
